Forbidden Fruit

I must not eat the forbidden fruit
I must not eat the forbidden fruit
Although it is so plump and soft and round
I cannot, must not, shall not eat
It’s supple tender tempting meat
I drool and pant and want like a hound.
But I must not eat the forbidden fruit
I must not eat the forbidden fruit

I must not eat the forbidden fruit
I must not eat the forbidden fruit
Even if the woman tells me ‘feast’
And the snake wants what it can’t get
It tells me often, doesn’t let me forget
Would it be so bad to have just one piece?
No, I must not eat the forbidden fruit
I must not eat the forbidden fruit

I must not eat the forbidden fruit
I must not eat the forbidden fruit
I don’t out of love, maybe out of fear
Am I waiting for some special day
Or will one day will it just go away?
One bite, is that alright? oh dear
I shouldn’t have eaten the forbidden fruit
Bitter sweet deathly treat consequence absolute.
